Days 4, 5 & 6 - Disneyland

Disneyland did not disappoint! This year the girls were really excited about meeting all the Disney characters. They were in awe meeting all their favorite superstars. The biggest thrill for them was meeting Cruella DeVil. I was proud of them, they'd whip out their autograph books and pens and we'd chase down whatever character they wanted to meet. I admit, I got into it and had fun chasing them down too.

Some special highlights: when Minnie Mouse grabbed Sidney's hand and walked through Disneyland with her, the girls were selected to talk with Crush (the surfer-dude turtle from Finding Nemo) and got to speak into a microphone in front of an auditorium of people at Turtle Talk with Crush, and they got to drive the Columbia and everyone clapped for them after the ride was over.

Disneyland was the girls 5th birthday gift. They chose not to have a birthday party and go to Disneyland instead. For their birthay dinner, we went to Ariel's Grotto and the restaurant sang Happy Birthday to them. They loved every minute of it.

Six straight days of theme parks and although I was ready to sleep in my own bed, we really weren't ready to come home.
