Merry Christmas!

Apparently, I've never grown up. I woke up the kids this morning at 5:30am announcing that Santa came! I had been lying in bed awake since 3:45am. I think I was excited.

Once the girls woke up and the chaos started to settle down, we remembered to go check out front for the bowl of carrots that we left for Santa's reindeer last night. Sure enough, the bowl was empty. It was also wet (from the rain). Sidney took one look at the bowl and said "look at all that reindeer spit!" and then Sophia picked up the bowl. Sidney thought it was funny that Sophia now had reindeer spit all over her hands...Sophia didn't seemed phased by it one bit. I think she was really looking forward to eating her chocolate Santa for breakfast.

Ginger's report to Santa must have been a very good one because the girls received everything they wanted and more. Today has been great because they have been playing with new toys and puzzles. Tonight we are going to play with their new educational computer (thank you Aunt Judith and Uncle Eddie). Tomorrow the girls get to open up their digital cameras that my parents got for them. Stay tuned, I'll post their first photos.

I'm very proud of the girls because they are excited to go through all of the toys they don't play with anymore so they can give them away to other kids who would love to have them. One thing they do really well is share.

We all your hope that your Christmas was as fun as ours. And for all you Santa's out there, I hope you get to bed early tonight. I'm ready for bed now and it's only 5:30pm!
