Bye Bye Ginger 2009

After we opened up our two Christmas Eve gifts, we put food for the reindeers outside and set up Santa's cookies. We had seen Santa at the mall the previous weekend and he said chocolate chip was his favorite. Thank goodness those were the cookies we were planning on making. Don't want to upset Santa, especially right before the big day.

Christams Eve is the scheduled day that Santa picks Ginger up. We prop her up with the cookies for Santa so he'll see her. I had prepped the girls for it and they were sad when we talked about it. They were champs when it came time to get her ready for Santa. The girls took her around to each of us so we could tell her how much we loved having her again this year and each gave her a big hug. The girls then each took a minute or so and told her how much they loved all the fun things she did and thanked her for all the treats she brought. They also told her that we all hoped she'd come back again next year. I have a good feeling that she just might.
