Sidney 5, Sophia 2

Sunday, November 1st Sidney lost her 5th tooth. Monday, November 2nd Sophia lost her 2nd tooth. Sophia's tooth had been hanging on by a thread for 6 months (the new tooth is already in!). I'd been trying to pull it out while she's slept, however she slept with her teeth clamped shut. Somewhere in her subconscious mind, I think she knew what I was doing.

On Monday, Sophia was out playing with Kevin (our next door neighbor) and Kevin knocked Sophia's tooth out on accident. Kevin thought he was in so much trouble until everyone kissed, hugged and thanked him. He was shocked.

When the tooth fairy visits, she always brings $2. Sidney has always been very good about giving Sophia one of her dollars and then off to the dollar store they would go. In tradition, the tooth fairy brought Sophia $2. Do you think she would share with Sidney? Nope. Sidney was in tears with hurt feelings and there sat Sophia holding on tight to her money. I told her I knew she would make the right decision and let her think about it. After 45 minutes, Sophia made the right decision and gave Sidney a dollar. This went on from 5:30 - 6:15am Tuesday. What a way to spend a morning!
