Pumpkin Painting & Ice Cream Sundaes

Every year we host a pumpkin painting/carving & ice cream sundaes party for the court. This year the girls also invited a friend from kindergarten to hang out with us. It's the first time they have had a friend from school over and they were excited! Sidney woke me up this morning at 6am just to make sure TODAY was the day that Bella was coming over.

The day was a huge success. The weather was perfect at about 78 degrees which made it a great day to hang outside.

The older kids got to carve their pumpkins while the little ones painted theirs. If I was giving out awards, Sophia would have won one for getting more paint on her than on her pumpkin. About halfway through the party, we took a break for ice cream sundaes. About 3 hours later, all the pumpkins were either painted or carved. Now all the houses (with kids anyway) have beautifully decorated pumpkins by their front doors.
