Meet Ginger

Last week I arrived home from work as the phone was ringing. It was Santa calling! He wanted to know if the girls were home and asked me to tell them to go to the front door to receive the package he left for them. We all open the door and find Ginger with a letter from Santa introducing her. Basically the letter stated that he sent Ginger to live with us from now until Christas Eve when he'd pick her up. Ginger's job is to watch the behavior of little kids and report directly to Santa her findings. Ginger may look like a stuffed gingerbread woman, but don't be fooled! She has an active, working brain and comes alive at night to do her reports. Ginger is also known for her whimsical tricks. So far Ginger has tried to eat the girls cereal, slept in each of their beds and today when we came home from picking up the girls from school, Ginger had popped herself popcorn and was watching cartoons. Ginger is currently looking for additional trick ideas, so if you can think of anything easy and funny, please leave a comment. Ginger has to keep this up until Dec. 24th! If you are interested in doing this, google elf on a shelf. There is a ton of info on it...I just chose to do it myself instead of order the kit. Michelle and Jena, you guys should do this!
