Busy busy busy

We went from laying low to running out of time. These days it doesn't seem like there is enough hours in the day. Weekends have always gone by fast but they seem practically non-existent now. The first weekend we don't have plans is October 18th...it's only September 21st! We aren't complaining as we are having a great time.

The girls are loving school. Sidney finally doesn't cry when we drop her off now. The teachers at her school did a lot to make her feel comfortable. At home she was also getting a lot of positive reinforcement from "Great Jobs!" to picking a prize out of the prize box.

A couple of weeks ago, we had our huge neighborhood garage sale. My mom and I took the girls. They each had $1.00 to spend and it was burning a hole in their pocket. Anyway, long story short, you should see what they bought for a total of $1.00! They each chose these HUGE stuffed animals. Sophia chose a dog and everytime I see it sitting on Sophia's bed, I think it's Gator. Sid chose a big wolf that has a baby. Sophia named her dog Maggie (I wonder where she came up with that?) and Sidney named hers Princess Wolfie. They just love these animals and it was the best dollar I've ever spent!

On Sundays, we are now doing gymnastics. My friends daughter, who is a gymnast, is teaching the girls. Cassidy is 12 years old and we are her first job. I'm very proud of how all the girls are doing. Cassidy is taking her job as a coach very seriously and is doing great managing 2 four year olds. The girls love Cassie and they have been excellent students. Cassidy even put sticker charts together for the girls and as long as they follow her directions, they get stickers at the end of each class. It's just like being at the gym.

The girls have each been sick this week but are now on the mend. Sid had it the worst. Poor thing didn't sleep for 2 nights (read between the lines, nor did any of the rest of us).

As for me, I'm glad to see Fall is coming. I'm ready to see the pretty fall colors and welcome in the cool air.
