Placer County Fair

Last Thursday night, our neighbor Leta who is 14, competed for Miss Teen Placer County at the Placer County Fair. I am happy to say, not only did she win Miss Congeniality, but she is now the Ambassador to Miss Teen. What does that mean? It means she steps in anytime Miss Teen cannot. The girls thought Leta was a princess and were mesmerized by the whole thing. At one point they even started chanting Leta! Leta! while she was on stage. It was so cute. Anyway, while we were waiting for the pageant to begin, we just had to get in some rides.
